Allergy Statement

Cherie, the owner of charssi, suffers from Celiac Disease and has multiple food allergies. As a result, we are obsessive about cross-contamination and making sure our products can be enjoyed by those suffering from allergies to items like peanuts and other nuts.

Our Spoon Fudge is created in small handmade batches and our equipment is run through a commercial dishwasher between each batch. We do not use cutting boards or any flat surface that may harbor food particles between batches. Our peanut batches are made at the end of each day and are made in separate cooking pots and using designated peanut-only scoops, whisks, and measuring containers. All other batches are sealed shut prior to the making of our peanut batches.

At this time, the only actual peanut-free product is the plain Chocolate flavor. We hope to provide Spoon Fudge in a peanut-free forumulation in the future and are working to source out peanut-free ingredients.
